A monthly gallery of cell phone artwork by Jeff Douglass

These drawings were made using the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Stylus along with a great digital artwork app called Sketchbook. This app provides a full suite of tools and allows the stylus to become the brush of your choice using your phone screen as a canvas.

Drawings are in sequential order from January/2022 to May/2026 with “Mothers Day Card” being most recent.
This body of work originates with a cellphone I purchased several years ago in 2022.  One of its outstanding features was a built in digital pen which led to my first experience creating digital artwork. I was amazed at the pairing of stylus and software to create different visual effects as well as the many representations of pens, brushes, and other tools that all have specific qualities just like their real world counterparts. I began to post these drawings to my site jeffdouglassart.com and quickly realized that this body of work would benefit from a dedicated venue…..and thus this website was born.

I will be selecting images from this series to be made avaible  as giclee prints. The contact page will list all work that is presently for sale. The giclee print process uses a specialized inkjet  printer to accurately reproduce these digital images onto archival paper. When printed,  the image size increases from the size of a phone screen to 8 inches in width to 17 inches in height.

All artwork on this website is created with natural inteligence.
